Chocolate Pecan Pie Cups w/ Pecan Spice
Chocolate lovers unite! Indulge your sweet tooth with a healthier version of your classic candy favorite.
What You Need:
Chocolate chips of choice (or bars of chocolate broken up for melting)
Silicone baking cups (mold for pecan butter cups and easy to peel - paper will do, too!)
Melt your chocolate of choice (We used Whole Foods' semi-sweet chips for this recipe). Check out this WikiHow article for melting chocolate if you don’t already know how to do so.
Add a thin layer of melted chocolate to silicone baking cups. Set in a muffin tin, then put in freezer for 30 minutes.
Once the layer of chocolate sets, add a spoonful of Pecan Spice (we call it “Pecan Pie in a jar”) to each cup. Top off each cup with another layer of melted chocolatey goodness.
Put them back in the freezer to set.
Once they’re all set, take them out, take a bite and obsess over them. Try to share with others, but we understand if you don’t.
